As you celebrate your mother this weekend, consider giving back to another mother in need.
A community baby shower will be held on Saturday, May 7 to benefit Detroit area mothers who have fallen on hard times.
AT&T's Pioneers organization will be hosting the event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Latino Press in Detroit.
About 50 women will enjoy food and games during the event. They'll also be showered with gifts for their babies.
If you'd like to help, diaper donations are accepted at the Latino Press between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
