(WXYZ) - The Attorney General's Public Integrity Unit has filed criminal charges against Macomb County Sheriff Deputy Joseph Andrew Cada and New Baltimore probationer Trista Leigh-Ann Caswell for their alleged roles in a scheme to avoid breathalyzer tests mandated by the court, according to Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette.
It is alleged that Cada and Caswell filed fraudulent statements saying that Caswell passed five breathalyzer tests done by Cada.
Cada, 45, and Caswell, 28, both face five years behind bars if convicted of Obstruction of Justice.
