Detroit drivers are the best in the country.
That's according to a new study by QuoteWizard, a company that compares insurance quotes.
Some say it makes sense the Motor City knows how to drive!
A motorcycle driver named Honey said, "We have some of the best, more experienced, well-rounded drivers."
QuoteWizard ranked 75 cities based on the number of:
- Accidents
- Speeding tickets
- DUIs
- Citations (like running a red light or using a cellphone while driving)
Well it turns out, Detroit drivers have some of the lowest numbers when it comes to those factors.
Some have a theory on why there might be less accidents on the road.
Dennis Stockwell said, "Everybody in Detroit is such a bad driver. They all kind of just badly drive together, so maybe that's how it works."
As for the lower number of speeding tickets, some drivers say speeders just don't get caught.
Samantha Smiley explained, "You see people up and down the street people speeding."
One driver said that Detroiters could be better drivers because the insurance is so high.
