Prepare to be dazzled in January of 2019.

The U.S. Figure Skating Championships are coming to the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, 313 Presents just announced today.

The championships will run from January 19 through January 21 in 2019.

The last time the championships were held in Detroit (1994), Nancy Kerrigan was attacked by people linked to her chief competitor Tonya Harding.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the 2019 U.S. Figure Skating Championships back to the city of Detroit,” said Tom Wilson, Olympia Entertainment president and CEO and interim president of 313 Presents, in a statement. “The event has a rich history with a passionate fan following, and we’re confident that the athletes, coaches and fans will enjoy a first-class experience in our great city.”

Tickets are expected to go on sale early next year.
