(WXYZ) - Detroit Police say they have arrested a second suspect in the case of a murdered Detroit mother and two missing children.
During a 10:30 a.m. press conference Thursday, Detroit Chief of Police James Craig said the second suspect is a 27-year-old male who will be charged with Accessory After the Fact.
The father of one of the missing children has been arrested in Georgia.
Erin Justice was taken into custody yesterday, just two days after the mother of his missing child was found dead. Chief Craig indicated that Detroit investigators are in Georgia, questioning Justice in order to find out more information about the childrens' whereabouts.
Sources tell 7 Action News they believe 27-year-old Alicia Fox was killed in a house on Ardmore Street, located on Detroit's west side. Michigan State Police were at the house overnight and detected blood inside.
Police say Fox lived in the Ardmore house with her two kids, 6-year-old Kaylah Hunter and 8-month-old Kristian Justice, before she was killed.
The mother's body was found Monday at an abandoned home on Penrod Street, according to police.
Fox was last seen with her two children leaving the house in late May.
