Elderly West Bloomfield woman targeted at restaurant and followed home by robbers

An 83-year-old West Bloomfield woman is recovering from injuries to her hand after two men confronted her in her garage and twisted her wrist to rob her of a diamond ring.
 
Police suspect the men followed the woman to her home near Long Lake, east of Orchard Lake after she had lunch at the Village Palace restaurant Monday afternoon.
 
West Bloomfield Police Lieutenant Curt Lawson said a man entered the restaurant insisting that he sit near the woman who was dining alone.
 
We're told she recalled the man looking at her several times and he left the restaurant shortly after she exited.
 
It's believed the man and another male then followed her home and confronted the woman after she parked her car in her garage.
 
Police released the following descriptions of the suspects.

Suspect #1:

·      30 – 40 years of age

·      200- 250 lbs

·       5'10 – 6'

·      Olive / Darker skinned

·      Clean shaven

·      Short brown hair

·      Dark colored knit hat

·      Possibly Arabic speaking

 

Suspect #2:

·      30 – 40 years of age

·      200-250 lbs

·      5'10 – 6'

·      Olive / Darker skinned

·      Possibly Arabic speaking
