(WXYZ) - The Ecstasy drug that gained popularity in the 1990s has an active ingredient called MDMA.
Now, authorities say that dealers, on an increasingly large scale, have isolated that ingredient and are now selling it as its own separate drug, calling it "Molly ."
It is dangerous and what's worse: People who buy it on the street or in a club have no idea whether what they're buying is really Molly or something even more unpredictable.
The effects of this drug can have deadly results.
