If you've noticed a lot of your friends seemingly posting painted portraits on social media, they're likely using a new app that's gaining in popularity.
Prisma lets you view your memories as true masterpieces. The free app has more than 30 filters that emulate the styles of various artists, famous patterns and ornaments.
All you do is upload a photo from your camera roll or take a picture and let the app do the work. You can also adjust how much of the filter you want applied to each picture.
Prisma says on its website that the app is powered by a combination of neural networks and artificial intelligence
The app is inching its way up the top chart for free downloads in the App Store. The app is available for iPhone and Android.
