When you first meet Jalen, he may come off as a bit shy. But the 15-year-old will soon open up. His caseworker says his smile is the first thing you’ll notice.
“I like to play video games, go out and play with my friends, and just have fun,” said Jalen.
He’s really into athletics.
“I like to play sports like basketball. Sometimes I play football, and I like to jog,” he added.
He also is a creative soul and enjoys pen and paper.
“I got to have something in front of me, and then I can outline it and draw it,” he explained.
How would he describe himself?
“Athletic and funny and smart,” he smiled.
Monopoly could become his go-to board game.
“My favorite subject is math. When I do math, I like to count money,” he said.
His dream is to have a forever family.
“I want a Mom and a dog, and that’s it,” said Jalen. “I just a family… to do everyday things with.”
