DETROIT (WXYZ) - Habitat for Humanity in Detroit is looking for last minute volunteers to help build homes for working families as part of Women's Week.
Building begins Wednesday, May 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and work will continue through Saturday in Dearborn.
Their goal is to build 12 affordable and safe homes for local families.
Volunteers are still needed for Wednesday through Friday.
Those interested must be at least 16 years old to participate on the build site and volunteers under 18 need an adult volunteer to accompany them.
Volunteers will receive lunch and a t-shirt with their donation.
