(WXYZ) - The Washtenaw County Hazardous Materials Response Team was dispatched to Michigan and Holmes in Ypsilanti after a gasoline tanker ruptured.
The Ypsilanti Fire Department says that two 9,000 gallon tankers were parked on the ground when one sunk into the earth and ruptured one of the tanks on the other tanker.
An estimated 1,000 gallons of gas ran onto the ground, according to the fire department.
The Washtenaw County Hazardous Materials Response Team is monitoring the air and Red Cross is aiding the first responders.
We're told this could be an active scene throughout the night.
