(WXYZ) - A human rights ordinance in Royal Oak is on hold after a group rallied enough petition signatures from people against the law.
Patch.com reports that people against the ordinance say the language is too broad.
People in favor of the ordinance are now fighting back, saying they don't want to let hate and discrimination take over Royal Oak. If implemented, Royal Oak would be the 22nd Michigan community to pass a human rights law.
