(WXYZ) - Renault, the French automaker, just revealed their Kwid concept car.
One of its main features: a drone.
Kwid comes equipped with what their engineers are calling a "flying companion."
The companion would theoretically take off from the rotating portion of the car's roof.
Drivers could use it to survey traffic, take landscape pictures and check for any accidents or obstacles in the road ahead.
The tablet navigation system in the SUV will allow for control of the flying companion.
Renault says they are hoping the robust and hyper-connected car would appeal to young trendsetters in new markets.
