Local activists talk about violence after returning from visit to Ferguson, Missouri

DETROIT (WXYZ) - "There is a fringe group that is inciting these riots with the police," said Rev. Charles Williams II of the National Action Network's Michigan chapter.

Williams and over a dozen other members of NAN returned to Detroit Monday morning after visiting Ferguson, Missouri, over the weekend.

"The Ferguson community has chosen the peace option," said Rev. Williams who accuses anarchist groups of inciting violence during the protests that stem from the shooting of a young black man, Michael Brown, by a white police officer.
