Trailer used to help those in need is stolen from local charity

PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) - A local charity is asking for the public's help in finding a trailer that was stolen from its property.

Sometime last week, the trailer, that is similar to one pictured in this story, was stolen from the QTMC homeless shelter on North Perry Street in Pontiac.

The trailer has wooden side walls.

David Coleman runs the shelter and uses the trailer to deliver meals and supplies to those in need.

"I was angry of course. I wondered, what am I gonna do now?," says Coleman.

He has run that charity for 18 years and says without that trailer he is unable to pick up and drop off food and many other things to the people who depend on him.

He is hoping that whomever stole the trailer will do the right thing and return it to him.

If you have any information on where it may be, please call the Oakland County Sheriff's Department.
