There's still time to check out a hilariously bloody tradition on the stage, just in time for Halloween!

"Evil Dead: The Musical" is playing at the City Theatre in Downtown Detroit through October 29th. It's based on the cult classic films on the 1980's by Sam Raimi, who grew up in the Detroit area. The story involves a weekend getaway at an abandoned cabin. A boy unleashes an evil spirit that turns his friends into demons, and the boy fights until dawn to survive.

The show promises lots of grisly fun, with blood flowing all over the stage. Seats in the "Splatter Zone" are available on a first-come-first-serve basis!
