(WXYZ) - The family who is accusing Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh of inappropriate behavior has a new attorney working with them.
William Seikaly of Farmington Hills, who specializes in cases involving students who claim to have had inappropriate relationships with adults, has been asked to work with the family.
Attorney Ivan Land represents the family, but a source tells 7 Action News that Land has sought Seikaly's expertise on the case.
Seikaly and Land would not comment.
The 7 Action News Investigators broke the story of how Pugh disappeared from city government after questions were raised about gifts and cash he gave to a young man he mentors.
Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr has stripped Pugh of his salary and power.
