Four-year old brother says he saw his mom kill his sister Tameria Greene with a "big knife"

DETROIT (WXYZ) - The four-year old brother of Tameria Greene, who was murdered last month, said he saw his mother kill his sister, according to court records.

The little brother was interviewed after last month's murder. The court records say, his mother, Semeria Greene "...had a big knife and cut his sister and his mother killed Ti-Ti."

Semeria Green has been charged with murdering her 8-year-old daughter. Semeria Greene has four other children, all boys, who were home the day Tameria Greene was stabbed to death.

The four brothers have been placed in foster care, following a hearing in Wayne County Juvenile Court this week.

The Department of Human Services (DHS) requested that the children be removed from their mother's care on Nov. 23, but that request was denied and the children were sent home to their mother. Tameria Greene was murdered seven days later.

DHS asked for the removal on November 23, in part, because of allegations that Semeria Greene abused Tameria. The abuse allegations were made in October and confirmed November 15, 2012, court records show.

The Wayne County Juvenile Court has maintained that it did not have enough evidence to remove the children on Nov. 23 from their mother's care. DHS blames the court for denying their removal request. saying the court did not ask for evidence or testimony.

Court records also show that Jovan Mull, father of three of Semeria Greene's children, said that after the stabbing a neighbor told him they witnessed Semeria Greene sitting outside on the stairs saying, "I can't believe I did this."
