DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit's financially-strapped 36th District Court is facing more change with today's removal of Judge Kenneth King as the chief judge.
The court has been embroiled in financial crisis.
A recent study says the 36
th District Court has serious financial issues, including a budget overrun of $4.5 million this year.
In May, the Michigan State Supreme court appointed Court of Appeals Judge Michael Talbot as a special judicial administrator over 36h District Court.
King will continue to serve on the bench.
