APRIL FOOLS: University of Michigan Engineering school fools with invisible cloaking spray video

(WXYZ) - Did you fall for it? We did, at least for a few minutes.

But we hate to break it to you, Harry Potter fans, the "cloaking spray," is a well executed farce.

As part of an April Fools' prank, the University of Michigan School of Engineering posted the below video to the school website, showcasing a cloaking paint in the midst of development.

Cloaking spray in development at UM:

"[It] sprays on clear and dries invisible. Once dry, it guides light around an object, causing it to become transparent," reads the video caption."

Apparently this is a yearly tradition for the school of Engineering. A representative from the department tipped us off to this April Fools' prank from last year.
