Dr. Sophia Roumanis currently serves as the Medical Director for Breast Care Services within The Center for Women's Health at Oakwood Healthcare System in Dearborn, Michigan. She is a respected clinician, a true patient advocate and a vocal proponent of breast health.
Dr. Roumanis is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Medicine and she completed her postgraduate training at Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center. She is board certified in Radiology and she is a senior member of Drs. Harris, Birkhill, Wang, Songe and Associates. She serves on the group's Board of Directors and also actively participates on numerous committees throughout Oakwood.
As a subspecialist in mammography her focus is to provide medical staff leadership to the state-of-the-art, all digital Oakwood Breast Care Center and to be an advocate for the optimal deployment of breast care services throughout our communities.
