YPSILANTI, Mich. (WXYZ) - A 26-year-old man is locked up after police say he was caught breaking into a house on North Adams by the home's owner.
Ypsilanti Police say Clayton Wiseman was leaving the building through a second story window when the homeowner and some friends came home. He reportedly went back inside, and was caught while trying to leave through another window.
That's when a fight broke out, and one of the victims called 911. A police dispatcher could reportedly hear the fight over the phone line. Police arrived to take Wiseman into custody, he ended up with a busted lip. One of the victims received a broken nose.
Police searched the area and found a backpack that contained a number of items taken from the house. Wiseman, who reportedly had several outstanding warrants, is locked up without bond.
