Airline Cutting Back on Flights

Last Update: 12/11/2008 10:13 am
ROMULUS (WXYZ) - Flight options to Mexico will slim down in the new year.

Aeromexico says its ending from Detroit Metro to Mexico City and Monterray.

Currently, there are three flights a week to the cities.

Those flights will end January 9.

Other Mexico destinations will still be offered through an agreement Aeromexico has with Delta.

The lagging economy is being blamed for the cutbacks.
