KMKAYOSS, good point. Your post has a lot of validity but it doesn't address the truth of the matter. The truth is the African American only make-up 12% of the total population but according to the Bureau of Prisons his numbers in the Penal Institution is highly exaggerated. How do we account for this? Do we call this Racism or truth? The truth is innocent citizens we fired-on by one of their own. Wouldn't it make more sense if the Young Black Men would have opened fire on a group at a bus stop in Bloomfield Hills? Then we could talk Racism!!

Sorry brightness, but that is a load of poppycock. Your comments are just as bad as those from the other side. As is usually the case, the truth lies somewhere in the middle between the two extremes.

Clare, Since you took the time to reply I will as well. You have your head under a rock and another end very exposed. This is the reality not the CHANGE in fantasy. You can deny reality but that does not change it.

Could we direct this conversation back to the subject at hand, Jamel Turner? The police broke down the door of his parent's home, shot his dog, ransacked the place for WHAT?? Dont they even check their facts before they go to a house?? It is just hysterical police work? Get a name and Bogart your way into a family's life in HOPES that you find something. I was on the other side of this kind of police work in January and believe me, I am still miffed. They tore up my daughter's apt looking for NOTHING. Nothing was there, nothing. And for all you black people who think educated white people are all against you, STOP IT. I am educated and white as the driven snow and I have helped black people all my life and I dont intend to stop. And for that person who sits at a desk and doesnt like black people frowning at him, you should study black culture. That is the way. A white person walks down the street, smile on his face and nods when he meets another person. A black person frowns when he walks down the street, and pulls his head UP when he meets another person. We so need to learn each other's culture to be able to get along.

In my job, I greet hundreds of people every day. Most of the white people (not all but most) come to my desk with a nod or a smile. The black people come up with a frown and a way of looking at me as though I am 'not to be trusted'. WTF.. I am just here to give them some paperwork and send them to the place they need to go! I try to smile and engage them but to no avail - they stand there in groups gawking at me like I am 'the enemy'..... why is that???

BadBob - 7/3/2009 11:47 AM
Most blacks don't want to be educated because than they would have to get a job and go to work. If they are not educated, the government will give them everything and this is 50% of the problem with this country now. Cracker is paying again and Obama is making sure of that.
