DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Capuchin Services Centers are doing their part this holiday season to keep the less fortunate healthy and warm.
This morning they distributed warm winter clothing to children 10 and under as part of the Caps, Coats N' Kids Holiday program. They also gave out hundreds of pounds of donated food to 600 families.
Among the food distributed were turkeys and hams for Christmas dinner, as well as 40 pounds of staple items to each family.
Because of our regions tough economic conditions, the need is especially great this year. Go to
www.cskdetroit.org or stop by the Capuchin Services Center at 6333 Medbury on Detroit's east side to find out how you can help.
