Now that Ohio voters have given their approval, four new casinos will soon be built across Michigan’s border in the Buckeye State. Surprisingly, one of the people helping to create this Midwest gaming competition is former Detroit Mayor Dennis Archer, the man who played an important role in bringing three casinos to the Motor City. Just days after a task force called for women to have fewer mammograms, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist is recommending women have fewer Pap tests to screen for cervical cancer. But these revised guidelines are likely to be a lot less controversial.
