Whoever Council Member A is needs to resign immediately and face the FBI questions. Any other members of council involved with this or any other scandal needs to step down. If Detroit voters have any morals, do not vote for any of the present members of council. We need to clean our city government up starting with the City Council. Enough of the embarrassing news, costs to the city and internet scandals. Michigan has had enough. If Conyers do not want to be compared to Kilpatrick, she needs to clean up her act professional and publicly. She needs to know how to be respectful when presentign herself as a public official. We will pray for you Ms. Conyers, we will pray that you be gone and out of politics and stop bringing the city down with you.

Mrs. Conyers' statement: "If you don’t have the truth to say, then keep your comments to yourself. You can’t comment on me, my husband or my family because you don’t know us. And for those of you who do know us, you know how to speak appropriately about us." is outlandish! Unfortunately, many DO have known/do know her and have experienced her demonic and narcisstic behavior ever since she forced the marriage claiming she was carrying his child. She continually terrorized his offices with her demands to take care of their domestic needs, including hitting up vendors to supply her parties at their home on Seven Mile. The 12th Precinct know her very, very well. They were stopped by then-12-year-old John III waving a butcher knife because his mother, Monica, was reportedly going after him with a gun. This was all in their police report which of course soon disappeared (the original is still available). On a kinder note, Monica may be in need of professional pyschiatric help; however, she reminds me of a spoiled 2 year old brat when he/she does not get his/her way. I don't feel sorry for her husband, he taught her all she knows. In effect, he created a monster who just won't "shut up". He demanded his staff to work on all three of her campaigns (state senate, rep and council)in his quest for complete power in Detroit. He also imported staff from DC to work on KK's,JoAnn Watson's and Keith Williams'(for Wayne County Commission) political campaigns. This, by the way, is illegal. Pelosi is standing by JC (as he likes to be called)because she looked aside when the Ethics Committee investigated him, and she too is now being investigated. Until unethical, criminal behavior becomes unacceptable for ALL public officials in Detroit, the citizens will suffer while watching their city go down the tubes. You can't "cherry pick" among them...it must mean all of them or just forget it, starting with Congresssman John Conyers, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

She truly needs some mental health intervention of some kind. Although I don't feel sorry for her in terms of what she did, it is clear that she is mentally unstable and needs assistance of some kind or medications, and she is a human being after all. If she has a shrink she or he is not really doing a good job for her. Mr. Conyers is wealthy and has good health care, it's sad that he has not been able to get her the kind of psychiatric assistance that she needs.

Todays News she sez she enjoys helping the ppl of Detroit. I wonder how many ppl she helped with all that extre cash she had been getting? Of course she is still in fear of God, or so she sez. Why dont they ever think of God when they are stealing and making such fools of theirselves. I just dont get it, and I really am looking forward to seeing all the ppl come forward and say give her break just like they did with KK. Well KK got his break but I think it is going to come back on him. At least I hope it does.

I guess I got my answer she finished school but isnt smart enough to pass the BAR. I agree with the ppl that Mr Conyers had to know what was going on, he is suppose to be an educated man so how does he not see all this money coming from NO WHERE. I hope it goes all the way up to KK and beyond if it needs to. Hey if CB is at all involved in this get her to she doesnt impress me at all. She was a smart women who turned stupid.

williedawimp, You asked if I thought old Johnny would pull strings. I think he'd like to, but there are so many people involved in the DOJ and his office I think it would be almost impossible to keep any request he made quiet. Somebody would talk. Then Johnny would be in actually more trouble than Monica and he's politically savvy enough to know when to walk away. He should have walked away years ago. He's already being looked because of a possible conflict of interest; he does not want to give up, in any way, his Chairmanship. In many ways that makes him the most powerful member on the Hill. His nickname on the Hill is "Ghetto" which says a lot. He'll fight like an old dog for his position.

I blame some of this on John Conyers, who married the so-called woman and gave her his last name. It would have been better if John would have said he way gay - I would have respected that. I have no respect or confidence in a man that picks a crazy, hoodrat, stupid woman for a wife.
