DTE is going to raise their rates anyway. The savings will be more than the increase. I don't know about you but I don't have money to throw away. Put plastic up on the windows also. If you can go on the Budget program. It is more affordable to pay the same amount per month than the huge winter months.

This is a really bad idea, I knew a guy who used to work for DTE and there was a huge meeting regarding reduced energy usage and how they were going to raise rates if ppl kept switching to green energy. So do your selves a favor and use as many 100w lightbulbs as you can, and fire up the space heaters. The more energy you use the lower your bills may be in the future.
