The Macomb County Parent Coalition is hosting a FREE Clothing Swap Saturday, November 14.
It's from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Macomb Intermediate School located at 44001 Garfield Road north of 19 Mile in Clinton Township.
Admission is free but a donation of a non-perishable food item would be appreciated.
You can drop off clothes Friday, November 13 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 14 from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Anyone who drops off their clothes Friday will receive a special early pass that entitles one person to enter the swap at 9:30 a.m. at Saturday.
Here's how it works: At home, sort and fold clean clothes by size into boxes or bags. You may also donate clean, gently used toys and books. Volunteers will sort the items onto proper tables. Next comes the fun part. On Saturday, you can go the tables with the size clothes you're looking for, and take what you need. Free of charge. There are no minimums or maximums.
