(WXYZ) - The chips are down at Greektown Casino. Revenue fell to its lowest point since the casino's first full year of operation in 2001.
The casino, which is reorganizing under bankruptcy protection, reported revenues of $23.2 million in June. That's down from $28.5 million in June of 2007.
Greektown believes the bottom line was affected by a mistaken belief the casino closed immediately after filing for bankruptcy at the end of May, but it has remained open for business as usual.
MGM Grand Detroit reported revenues of $48.7 million in June. That's up more than $10 million from last year.
MotorCity Casino reported June revenue of $38 million, down from $42.3 million a year ago.
