I-696 Back Open After Fiery Crash

Fiery Crash on I-696
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) -I-696 has reopened after a fiery crash late Tuesday night.

It's not clear what caused the accident, but it involved at least two vehicles on the eastbound lanes near Orchard Lake. One of the vehicles exploded, and it appears the other vehicle also caught fire.

Police tell Action News there were some injuries, but at this point it's not clear how many and how serious.
