(WXYZ) - It would have been the biggest day of his professional life, but Miles Gengler was too busy serving his country to attend.
The Army Major was deployed to Iraq just two day after taking the bar exam in February, so he wasn't able to be sworn-in after it was learned he passed the exam. Now the Cooley Law School graduate will be able to be sworn-in thanks to his school.
Cooley has set up a live video conference between the Gengler native and Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly, during which the Grand Blanc native will take his oath and be admitted to the Michigan Bar from over 6,300 miles away.
