POLICE: Two Men Burned Body in Dumpster

Last Update: 11/17/2009 1:47 pm
DETROIT (WXYZ) - Two men are facing multiple charges connected to a burned body found in a dumpster in Detroit.

Police say 33-year-old Shane Dolittle and 52-year-old Brian Euashka were arrested running away from the dumpster fire with gas cans in their hands. Both men have been charged with mutilation of a corpse, arson and tampering with evidence. They have not been charged with murder.

Detroit Police Chief Warren Evans says "We are continuing interview these men and are hopeful that eventually they will share information with us that will help us identify this woman and shed light on the circumstances of her death."

Investigators are trying to determine if the body is either Regina McDaniel or Shanita Brown. Both women were reported missing last week.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 1-(800)-SPEAKUP.
