Pilot Races for Charity
Troy, Mich (WXYZ) - A local woman is flying in an upcoming air race for a special cause.

Kelly Burris is an attorney who doubles as a stunt pilot.

Action News caught up with her before she flew off to Colorado.

Burris will fly in the historic Women's National Race.

This race dates back to 1929 when Amelia Earhardt participated in the event.

Burris is flying for a charity.

Angel Flight offers air transportation for sick kids to parents in financial need.
