Pontiac Host Annual Holiday Mercy Dinner

Holiday Mercy Dinner
(WXYZ)- Askar Brands is hosting its 3rd Annual Holiday Mercy Dinner in Pontiac this weekend.

The group will provide a pre-holiday dinner to hundreds of needy families in Oakland county.

The event will take place from 3:30pm until 6:30pm Sunday, November 8th, at St. Vincent de Paul Matchen Nutrition Center in Pontiac. The center is located at 46408 Woodward Ave.

Askar Brands consists of several local restaurants including Papa Romano's, Mr. Pita, Pepsi and Stucchi's.

More than 350 people attended last year's dinner. More people are expected to attend this year's event.
