Action News camera went up on the roof of the two-year-old Harper Woods High School/Middle School for the best view of at least two significant parts in the movie.
"The art director and the scout said they were looking all around for locations to shoot, you know, the movie

It is the Cold War-era story of a scrappy group of young people who band together to defend their town after a surprise foreign invasion. That's where the football field next door comes in.
The field actually belongs to the old Notre Dame High School which closed a few years ago. With the freshly mowed lawn and new flags on the goal posts, it'll soon be ready for the Wolverines.
The actors will climb up onto the roof of Harper Woods High School where they will be spying on the internment camp below.
The superintendent is certainly happy the district is getting a financial boost from Michigan's growing film industry.
"They're renting time and space, and of course we have to offset our expenses," said Toss Biederwolf, superintendent of the Harper Woods School District. "But we're expecting about $10,000 in revenues."
