Yes! They're all the same.

Sylvesterq04, HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT THIS CHILD IS BETTER OFF DEAD! I'm absolutely sick and tired of the posts that take the opportunity of beat up on injured children. NO CHILD, BLACK OR WHITE, DESERVES TO HAVE THEIR LIFE THREATENED, PERIOD!!! Do you have or know any children? Would you wish that the bullet hit their vital organ, killing them? What kind of a person are you to say such a thing?!

gregjohn - 7/3/2009 8:33 AM
This child was not shot because he was black. He was shot because he was standing at this bus stop, which happens to be in Detroit. Any one, of any race that would of been standing at this bus stop when he was there, would of been shot too. This is Detroit: Go figure, the facts speak for themself.

What happened at that Bus Stop was an immoral act comitted by a callous sociopath.I dont know if all of the people involved were poor. Many Black families are middle or at least lower middle-class which means all of their basic needs are met.I am surprised that Liberals do not see how they enable these types of situations by generating excuses.GOOD LUCK KID---STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!

UnionsSUck - 7/3/2009 6:55 AM
This kid sounded like a 4th grader. No one is saying he "deserved" to get shot for being black. Maybe he deserved it for being stupid. "Stupid" is color-blind.

sylvesterq04 - 7/3/2009 3:37 AM
Proudly, obviously you don't get it.

proudly84 - 7/3/2009 3:02 AM
Sylvesterq04....I would NEVER try to impress ANYONE on these blogs...THAT IS A FACT! A kid standing at the bus stop does not deserve to be shot because he is BLACK! Is that what you are insinuating? I would put it as blunt as I can EVERY kid deserves an education and as an ADULT I could never ever say that kids are not capable of learning. They are indeed the most innocent. However, do I believe the same exist for adults. NO!!!! If I am ever going to come to the defense of anyone in this type of circumstances you better believe that it is going to be the child. How in the hell can anyone blame the victim? GET REAL!!! Of course, I care about all children and not some children.

sylvesterq04 - 7/3/2009 2:44 AM
Proudly, Proudly, Proudly, what does any of this have to do with what happened at the Bus Stop? You have a lot of words but they're all going in circles. You sound like a politician. Give me, in as few words as possible, your synopsis on the Bus Stop issue and how that ties into racism. Also, don't give me all of that socio-economic BS. Let me be very clear. I went to school proudly84. I spent many years at WSU and I didn't study Elementary Education. So don't try to impress me with what you have read in your sociology and psychology books. Been and there and done that well beyond your level of study. I can't wait for your response.

A child not being skillfully educated falls on everybody. The community, parents, teachers, administrators, and government. The child is the innocent victim in this manner. Children cannot be expected to act on the same level as adults. If adults are not taking an active role in educating children, how do we put the bigger blame on children? The education system has many problems. For one it is not balanced all over. Suburban children have many advantages over urban school children. This is a known fact with a lot of proven documentation. So, we cannot compare the two. I know that DPS has its problems, but I do know that there are also some very intelligent children who starving for knowledge. There just has to be a system that is able to help all children regardless to economic situations. This is not an issue of race, but an issue of socioeconomic class. Ann Arbor Schools has many educational resources. I like the many education programs that there public school system has to offer children. Ann Arbor Schools offer a high level of diversity in many of there schools. And, no I am not plugging Ann Arbor...LOL

Now Proudly84 we have had our disagreements but I promise to be respectful of your opinions. Let us be honest. What does being poor have to do with taking an automatic assault weapon and firing it into a crowd of people? I have read your past posts and I have no doubt you are a Champion of Education. Therefore I have no doubts you will agree with me that these people's biggest problem is a lack of education in their homes. Most of us are poor but we are not stupid. You study to be a teacher because you know the value of an education. Is that what those teenagers were out doing this week? Hell no! They could care less! And if you even mention education to them they will laugh at you. If you Champion education so much then why don't you teach in a Detroit High School where they need it the most? I can't wait for a response. Don't skate the issues.
