DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) - Dearborn Police have released the names of the deceased parties involved in the murder/suicide at Henry Ford Community College.
They are identified as Anthony Powell (suspect), 27, a Detroit resident; and Asia McGowan (Victim) 20, an Ecorse resident.

At
an afternoon news conference, police said they were originally called to the MacKenzie Fine Arts Center when someone called 911 to report an assault. When officers were in route, a second call came in reporting that shots had been fired. Police then search the building, and found the bodies of a man and a woman.
No details about the crime scene have been released, though
witnesses say the shootings took place on the first floor. Police say a shotgun was used. They have yet to identify either the victim or the shooter.
School officials sent out an emergency notification to students and faculty soon after the first reports came in. It was recieved by text message, phone, and e-mail. The school has been closed for the remainder of the day, but has not yet determined if it will hold Saturday morning classes.
