Facebook is taking aim at LinkedIn with a couple of new features.
Looking for a job? Boom, just open Facebook.
The social media giant recently announced on its official business blog that it's rolling out ways to make it easier to post jobs and apply directly on the site.
Now, businesses can use Pages to create a job opening on Facebook. Just a couple of specifics about the position are needed to create the post.
Within the post, there will be an "apply now" button that will lead job seekers to apply through Messenger.
Facebook says applicants can not only browse the job openings on the pages, but they will also pop up in news feeds and in a new jobs bookmark.
People will also be able to search for positions on facebook.com/jobs.
