Two people were shot near Cass and Fort Monday night around 10:45 p.m. as people begin leaving the Detroit fireworks, police say.
Both the man and woman who were injured are expected to survive.

Detroit Police Commander Elvin Barren said the male was shot in the stomach and the woman suffered a graze wound to the arm.
Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument.
The search is on for three suspects.
Police say this shooting was not related to the fireworks.
