Kids will be waiting this morning to collect sweet treats dropped from helicopters. Easter marshmallow drops are happening across metro Detroit today.
The first is at 9 a.m. in Trenton at Elizabeth Park.
At 10 a.m. in Southfield, helicopters will be over Catalpa Oaks County Park.
At 11 a.m. in Westland, the marshmallows will fall from the sky at Nankin Mills.
At each event, kids will be able to trade in marshmallows -- and get prizes in exchange.
