Beginning Monday, Aug. 22 through Sunday, Sept. 25, customers at McDonald's restaurants in Michigan will notice something different on their large fountain drink cups. It's McDonald's local twist to Share A Coke.

In celebration of the people of Michigan, the cups will feature 20 local unique phrases on limited-edition fountain drink cups. Customers all over the state can discover four new cups each week at participating McDonald's locations.

The "Share a Coke" program was first introduced in Australia the summer of 2011. Since then, The Coca-Cola Company has helped people "Share a Coke"- and a little happiness - in more than 70 countries around the world, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Great Britain, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain and Turkey.
