A heated meeting on Friday night happened between Detroit City Councilwoman Mary Sheffield and her constituents.
- Federal lawsuit could block Pistons' move to Detroit's Little Caesars Arena
- Restraining order preventing Pistons move to Detroit denied by judge
Sheffield called the town hall after the public outcry over Detroit City Council's Tuesday vote to put nearly $35 million in public funding towards the Detroit Pistons move to downtown Detroit at Little Caesars Arena.
She says the money spent by the city and its taxpayers will be more than recovered when the team makes the move, but that didn't appease some.
The meeting became very confrontational, and could make Sheffield rethink her vote.
She did vote for the tax incentive but said she could change her vote after hearing from residents. That would put the move back into turmoil.
