Meijer is voluntarily recalling select Meijer branded dark chocolate products, according the the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Meijer is voluntarily recalling the products.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The products were sold at Meijer stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin. There have been no illnesses reported to date.
The recalled products are:
- Meijer Bulk Dark Chocolate Almonds 18 oz.
- Meijer Bulk Dark Chocolate Cashews 18 oz.
- Meijer Bulk Dark Chocolate Coffee Beans
Consumers who have purchased these products should discontinue use immediately and return the product to the nearest Meijer store for a full refund.
