Roseville police are investigating a Roseville schools employee for allegedly sexting with current and former students at the district over the last several months.

According to Police Chief James Berlin, detectives are early in their investigation and are interviewing witnesses, possible victims and gathering evidence.

Right now, police are not releasing any information about the possible victims or their agents, and say they won't comment until the investigation is over.

Police are looking for other students who may have had contact with the employee, and are asking those possible victims to call them at 586-447-4510. Some students have already come forward.

If no other victims come forward, police say, they hope to complete the investigation by the end of the week and submit it to the prosecutor's office for possible charges next week.
