This week alone Detroit’s Most Wanted locked up two fugitives.  Confessed bank robber Brittany Floyd and accused armed robber Anthony Funderburg are both now in custody thanks to 7 Action News viewer tips.

Now, the hunt is on for a man the U.S. Marshals say is a cold blooded killer who destroyed a young family.

The U.S. Marshals say Randy Hunter shot a mother and father in front of their young son and now he’s armed in Detroit and it’s only a matter of time before he strikes again.

“Hunter is in Columbus, Ohio and he gets in an argument with a neighbor,” Deputy U.S. Marshal Aaron Garcia said.  “They get into an argument, some sort of dispute with the husband.”

February 22nd was a day that changed everything for one Columbus family.

“Hunter shoots the father dead, he shoots the wife several times in front of their 14-year-old child,” Garcia said.

The U.S. Marshals say 29-year-old Hunter is responsible for the horrific crime.

“Husband’s dead, kid see’s it all- he takes off he flees, he comes back to where he’s from, his neighborhood,” Garcia said.

Right now the Marshals have narrowed his location down to Detroit, Westland and Taylor where they believe family is letting him stay.

“He’s bouncing from house to house again, he fled Ohio and this trash comes back to our city, our communities, our neighborhoods and we gotta deal with it,” Garcia said.

Randy Hunter is 5’6” 145 pounds and police believe he’s still armed with the murder weapon.

“This guy completely destroyed this family, the father’s dead, the mom has to deal with this the rest of his life and the kid will be scared for the rest of his life, seeing his dad get murdered and mother get shot,” Garcia said.

Anyone with information on where Hunter may be can call the U.S. Marshals anytime at (313) 234-5656 and remain anonymous.
