DETROIT (WXYZ) - The search for missing two-year-old Bianca Jones is set to continue Saturday and Sunday. It's been over a week since Bianca's father, D'Andre Lane told police she was kidnapped by carjackers. Days of searching by police, firefighters and volunteers have gone by and still no sign of the toddler.
Bianca's mother, Banika Jones, held her seven-year-old daughter tightly as she thanked searchers before they headed out to try and find Bianca in areas of midtown and the city's east side.
The police-coordinated volunteer search continues Saturday at Metropolitan United Methodist Church located at 8000 Woodward Ave. On Sunday, the search efforts will be headquartered out of the Detroit Police Central Station.
Each day, searchers will be escorted by police officers beginning around 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
