DETROIT (WXYZ) - Just days after tickets for Mötley Crüe's last concert series "The Final Tour" went on sale, eight shows have already sold out.
Good news for concert-goers in Metro Detroit though as the sales have prompted the band to add a stop at Joe Louis Arena to its schedule.
On Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m., Mötley Crüe will grace the stage of the Detroit venue, joined by special guest Alice Cooper.
This is their second show in Metro Detroit for their final tour. They will play DTE Energy Music Theatre on August 9. Tickets are almost sold out for that show.
The band announced its ultimate retirement concert series Jan. 28 when it signed a Cessation of Touring Agreement which becomes effective at the end of 2015.
The North American portion of the "The Final Tour" kicks off in Grand Rapids July 2 and will reach 73 stops before heading overseas in 2015.
Tickets for the Detroit show range from $20-$75 and go on sale Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com , LiveNation.com , The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com .
