Nearly a decade after it went off the air full time, MTV is bringing back 'Total Request Live,' MTV President Chris McCarthy told The New York Times.

The afternoon show ran from 1998 until 2008 and featured popular music videos of the time.

Some of the more popular artists included Eminem, 50 Cent, blink 182, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Christina Aguilera, Destiny's Child, Brittany Spears and more.

McCarthy told the New York Times the show would return in October and once again be broadcast from a studio in Times Square.

Instead of Carson Daly as host, McCarthy said there will be five co-hosts who rotate. Those include DC Young Fly, who is a rapper and comedian, and Erik Zachary who hosts a Chicago radio show, according to the Times.

McCarthy said the show will start at an hour per day but could grow to two-three hours a day.
