NKD Pizza in Sterling Heights prides itself on serving "natural pizza."
Owner Mo Asker says everything is made from scratch and fresh. Asker says there aren't any additive or preservatives. There aren't any GMOs, no MSG, no BHT, no HFCS. There's also a gluten-free option.
“We use all of the best ingredients. Typically when you eat pizza you think I’m going to feel bloated, but it doesn’t give you that feeling. We say that all the time, but really you have to try it to believe it,” says Asker. "Pizza is everybody’s favorite food, so why not make it a little bit healthier and enjoyable.”
More NKD locations are coming soon to metro Detroit. Asker says there are plans to add 15-30 new stores within the next 5 years.
